I am a Designer. Its A Mindset.

Over the last week, I have been thinking long and hard about my 'Say Something Political' Film.

I really want this to be something fresh, and out of my comfort zone for a change. I really want to push all the experiences I had last year and the lessons learnt to set the bar for year two.
All week I have surrounded myself with people I don't normally socialise with, films I wouldn't usually bother watching and music I would dismiss. More to the point, A whole new way of thinking.

Surrounding myself in all these alien (to me) cultures, attitudes and styles has been hugely eye opening. Its something I have had to be quite disciplined with. You have to put yourself in other peoples shoes and ask yourself, "How would I approach this, if I was in ____ Shoes."
Or; "Why is _____ considered ____ and not like this."

Changing the way you think and attempting to peer through someone else's perspective (particularly successful/influential people) for me, gives me an insight into their way of thinking and ultimately, they're way of coming up with new ideas. Doing this has allowed me to broaden my thought process, when it comes to producing interesting, fresh ideas.

For my DP3 Ad, I want to really hit home with my audience. My audience by the way, is EVERYONE.
The way to accomplish this, is to convey a message that any human being understands:

It will revolve around an idea that promotes;

Compassion, Courage & Pride.
